well the day started with heavey rain and most of the lads going the wrong way to the fishery
well we all got there in the end. we were fishing on the bridge pool. once the rain stopped the weather was very kind to us the sun came out and there wa very little wind. big peter was strangley quiet which could only mean one thing , he must have been catching!
my doubles partner john cummins was on the other bank from me and i could see him catching a few good fish but as this was the final and we both needed to catch a lot more to win it. in the end we were murdered by colin and tony! tony destroyed his own club record with a great catch of over 70lb of fish.below are the pictures of the day out.
