1st bye 30/4/16 the riddings. riddings pool.

well here we go again the start of the 2016 season with 5 new members. we arrived at the riddings in bright if cold sunshine. i have to apologise to all as i arranged a minute silence for alfie i buggered it up ! i told everyone that on the blow of the first whistle we would have a minutes silence in honour of alfie then a second whistle would start the match! i blew the whistle and started fishing! sorry alfie can't help being stupid. i had cries from either side what about the minutes silence? i bet if mobsie was watching from above he would say good old smithy buggered it up again! love you alfie and we all miss you. anyway off we go the sun was out and me gordon and richard were fishing away in our t shits, did'nt last for long. a hour in and the storm clouds gathered! we were hit with , rain.wind and hail!! ohh deep joy! as it was we all caught a few fish and i want stewart berrow and colin hewitt drug tested well done boys.

richard watkins came along as a guest and is always welcome as he is a good friend of the club, not sure about the pink though mate

next we find me looking after all my adult kids, love em all

and here we find stuart berrow who had a great day and we all wish him well in the future , good luck mate with your operation next week, we al look forward to seeing you back on the bank with rod in hand as soon as possible.

well done everyone yesterday. gordon congrats on your first trophy, mick well done second place on your first match and form evryone involved with the club all the best stewart , we hope everything goes well next week, if not can i have your tackle ! sorry mate we all wish you the best!

Keith, Many thanks again for letting me fish with the Res, and thanks to all the lads and lasses... I know exactly what goes into running the matches on and off the bank so thank you and well done.

Been a few times and as always a great bunch... really really well done to Gordon on a tidy win, fished hard .. I thought it was ok for 30mins?! 2 nets !!

A few faces missing, I did think of Alfie thoughts out to John as well xx
