I mailed a couple of lads that are river anglers for their opinions and you can see their replies below. It may help members decide ( I have also mailed Trentman who is mentioned in one of the replies)
Hope it helps lads

Hi Mal
Hope you're well and all OK
I'm looking for a little advice on the following. I can't remember thelast time I fished a river and knowing you fish them regularly I thought you may be the one to ask! We wont be fishing this match until October next year but our secretary has to book them way in advance. Could you have a look at the secretaries post below and see if you have fished any of thes venues and if you were in my position which one you would choose. I would really value your opinion.
Cheers Malall the best
Jim

Hi Jim,good to hear from you mate,i,m fine thanks how about you and your lovely wife?
Personally mate i think i,d dismiss Bolehall as it,s very peggy and not what i,d call a match water, same applies to the salwarpe nice
to pleasure fish but not the best for a match,So of the 3 i would plump for Handsacre
mate plenty of silvers and some good bream if you can find em.On saying that the pegs in the trees tend to fish better,so if you can get everyone in the trees you should have a decent match. Mal

Hi Jim
Hope your well mate.
i have fished Claines many times - its a nice little river, which holds roach, dace, perch, chub and the occasional barbel, ideal for float and small feeder fishing, fishes better when there is a bit of water on the Severn as it backs up. maggot and hemp. gets lots of bookings around Oct/Nov time for the roach fishing, so might be your banker mate
Handsacre i've not fished there yet but trentman3 maybe of help on that one. he lives around there
Bolehill on the Anker is easy parking on the social club some nice pegs there bottyboy (Craig) fished it last season ive only fished it roving for chub once not under match conditions
holds the occasional barbel with roach and dace
sorry cannot be of anymore help on those last two
all the best
Tony
