the adventures of keith,alfie &tony in evesham!

well myself, alfie mobbs and tony martin spent last weekend in sunny evesham in my caravan.arrived thursday morning me and tony did all the hard work setting everything up while alfie buggered off to fish the sites own pool   got it all done without getting wet    tony (the nomad ) martin decided he was off to check the local brew in the town while i did myself some hot soup and mug of tea. our home for the weekend is pictured below.

i decided to join alfie on the pool to try and winkle out a few monsters   the picture below is alfie dangling his maggot and looking to my peg on the left

and again.

as it turned out the site was very quiet and myself and alf had the whole pool to ourselves all weekend  
alf had already landed an 8lb carp before i had even set up.

between us we had quite a few carp mirrors and commons plus tench, crucian carp,perch, roach and skimmers.

there ya go proof that i had to force the pair of em out on saturday night as they wanted to stay in and watch eurovision after watching britains got talent! sad old sod   

this the pub where we spent most of the weekend, chancers a pub full of all the local nutters, needless to say alfie and tony fitted in well!!!!!

well the time rushed by and we were soon back on the bromford again   we had a great time and we'll do it again i'm sure, thanks tony and alfie for keeping me company, cheers lads

Bearing up mate, bearing up  getting older,less hair,less money     The state pension is derisory you know      
Looking forward to our trip up to Lower Broadheath next month,not done too much fishing at all so far this year.

i.m ok mate, we have a match the old pool at the jam factory the last saturday in july. been told john jordon the fishery boss has cut down every tree around all the pools. not upset the fishing but looks awful! he did the same about 10 years ago. anyway have fun in worcestershire next month let us know how you get on?

Why do they do that  We have a trout fishery down here where the guy mullered all the bushes and stripped an island of all the growth, can't understand it. In the case of the jam factory, is it to make more pegs?

No worries, there all week. If you decide to have a day fine,equally fine if not .As i said just message me here first in good time and i will give you my mobile number.Only Brian and myself until Wednesday then one other for remainder of week.Brian has to return home on the friday,he aint a happy bunny  .
Almost certainly my last fishing holiday up there unless the other two fellas want to go and they all talk me into it. They are off to France carping for the week,neither Brian or I fancied sitting behind optonics all week long eating frogs food and drinking wine  
we prefer a pint of Bank's
