well the matches are comimg fast now as we enter mid summer. to day we found our selves on barston main lake one of the country's top fisheries. well we arrived and had a great day as normal but weights were way down on expectations. saying that everyone caught fish and 5lb plus was the lowest weight.this time round jim langston took the title witnh a 44lb catch of skimmers which made a nice change from carp.tony kibble also did well with 42 lb plus of skimmers and carp. my doubles partner got us through to the final comiong 3rd well done john boy.john poole was 4th and special mentions to gordon who was 5th and big pete 6th with excellent weights, well done boys.the match threw the aggregate way open which can only be a good thing. below we find colin hewiit who came last on the day but as he said he beat conky!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! he never turned up, well done colin lol next we find myself and dave prece sorting out the worlds problems cheer up dave you beat dave gordon next we find the 3 wise men mr moibbs turn at the scales winner big jim langston on the scales with the mcalinden family big bad john poole in the money again, well done john boy.
f once again neils arse on display ! weigh in time for mr poole snr mcalinden jnr's time to weigh in. gordon doing a great job on the scales as per normal. big bad stuart is all smiles till he finds out he came last but one lol big pete had a great day but as he was on his own he got knocked out of the pairs semi final, bad luck mate. oh dear dave gordon had a bad day at the office, never mind mate your 52 toady ! good luck john snr at the scales , well done partner, mr kibble fluked this small un well done tony! weigh in time for tony ! my turn at the scales, oh dear!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! pauls turn colin horner some how dragged this beastie out of the depth's and his tiddlers

marks turn. unlucky mate lol next we find stan the man at the top end of the lake. and here's alfie mobbs next our star man david preece big bad colin in action the beast micky davis before the off oh dear stan was told at the club house it was not country and western till tuesday lol oh dear mark david preece is not happy with you lol colin horner had another good day. nice to see paul davis back amongst the fish. me and my blue groundbait, don't ask!!!!!!!!!!!!! mr kibble kept it simple , just wish i had! big dave not sure if he's starting or packing up lol this water was made for big pete, he could chuck his feeder as far as possible and he did to great effect, well done mate. next we find gordon giving maca some advice. winner big jim before the off well i think we all had a great time again, weel don jim. thanks to john with his new camera. see you all at blythe waters in 2 weeks time.
