well this was the first club match of the season and i'd been looking foreward to it all week. we were fishing molands mere and were given pegs 30 to 50 . weather! well what can i say about it? we had rain, wind, hail storms, no wind, hot sun and even a thunder storm which scared the living day lights out of the ducks in from of me it was the first match for our two new members tom and will and i'd like to welcome them on behalf of all the club members. a bit of advice to will " buy an umbrella" anyway in peg 1 as we pegged it was the nearly man colin horner, nearly because he drew the golden peg and nearly won it, sorry colin next we have mr stan chester with a big smile on his face . just round the corner from stan was new member will, having a day off from serving behind the bar of the bromford menbers club. next we find micky and gordon sharing tactics before the whistle. jolly john cummins off to see his mate mr kibble. me enjoying the sunshine the club diplomat alfie enjoying a fag before the off. mark looks like he's about to fall asleep good to see mr goode snr back on the water blimey tony youve got a big un!!!!!!!
neil's been telling me all week he was going to win this match, unlucky neil! mr he man mr gordon showing off his body! mark and andrew enjoying the weather! new member tom in a tangle john jnr on his way to his peg. well fishing was pretty average to be honest but at least we only had one dry net so plenty of fish caught. see you all at kingsbury next month.
