Lavender hall

They have been netting some of the pools this week at Lavender and moving fish between the pools. They have put a number of carp into Oak and Dragon which they have taken from Brook and put over a ton of silvers into Brook. Brook as now become an out and out silvers pool. I love fishing for silvers and will be giving it a go tomorrow. Should be worth a few bites.

Had a really good day to be fair. Fished peg 2. Started at about 10metres fishing choppy and caster and also put in another line at 7metres fishing maggot and micros. Caught quality roach( 12/14oz) regularly
plus rudd and a few perch, (one of which was over a pound) on the 10metre line. Switched to maggot line and started catching skimmers. Constantly swapping between lines kept the fish coming all day. Well worth giving it a go, really enjoyed it and probably finished with around 25lb or so. Good days sport on a 5 elastic and size 20 hook:D Made a nice change. Definitely worth a visit
