I am ok ta, been rough since Xmas but getting there now. Managed to get out fishing twice in the last two weeks. Had three Arctic Char on our second trip so a new species for me, went like stink and tase great too

yeah im ok thanks mate not had a chance to go fishing since november. matches start again 28th this month so must get the gear sorted out soon. where the hell did you catch an artic char from and do they hold matches there ? wherever it is !

Place called Duncton Mill trout fishery down in Sussex. The owner brought eggs over from north america, hatched and raised them, stocked some this winter into two of his deeper lakes all around 2-3lb and will re stock in the autumn with bigger fish to around 6lb as they really don't like warm weather same as the rainbows.They are related to the Char that inhabit some of the Lakes in the lake district.
Really go like the clappers, odd fighters though as they seem to spiral a lot whilst trying hard to get to the bottom and find any weed.
Will be up to Broadheath again this year at the end of june.
By the way,when was that wedding photo taken?
must have been way way back A LONG TIME ago

Yup do that. We will certainly be fishing the Jam factory on more than one occasion as it is so near to us.
