buzzards valley 2nd bye 21/5/11

well we arrived at fishery to find the wind blowing a gale staright down the pool
fishing was hard going with not many fish being caught in the first couple of hours. i was pegged on peg 7 down in the corner next to richard who had filled a peg for us as a guest with three members away on their hols. richard started to catch using worm tails while paul davis was dragging in a 7lb carp by it's tail (jammy git! )
at the end of the match weights were way down on what was expected with richard coming out on top with 11lb, micky was topdog in the club with 7lb 8oz with son paul second with 7lb.

wel lfishing wasn't brilliant but we had a great day out with plenty of banter flying about as normal.

Thought I would say many thanks for asking me to fish with you… really nice atmosphere at club on the wed, and on the bank some real characters. In my opinion you have a good bunch of lads and a great fishing club.
