well it turned out to be another red hot sunny day "NOT" LOL
anyway the draw done and i had my peg pulled out as the golden peg and drew the peg i wanted to fish Very Happy
might have known it was going to well to be true Rolling Eyes as i started to set up the fishery gaffa turned up to tell me we couldn't fish the pegs that back onto the the main pool ( including mine)as the open anglers were fishing there! RE-DRAW Rolling Eyes
this time mr gordon drew out the golden peg, he dare not win it today or dare he? scratch lol!
oh well off we go again this time i was in peg 5 next to my old man which meant i was going to spend more time unhooking his fish than mine Rolling Eyes lol!
on the way to the match big pete who was with me in my car said there was no way he could draw the same peg he has fished and struggled in for the last two years. draw done he was well away from it but after the re-draw he again pulled out the one peg he didn't want lol! and guess what? yep he struggled again lol! better luck next year pete Very Happy
below is big pete having his catch weighed in be fishery staff.

in the next peg to big mac was little mac, neil. here he is about to weigh in his third place catch and start winding his dad up about beating him again! lol!

well today was single k.o. semi final time and below is a smug looking colin knowing he has just knocked mark out and reached the final against john poole, jammy git! lol!

well here's mr consistant alfie mobbs at the weigh in. looks like mr preece's wooden spoon could be under threat this year! Embarassed

it was john snr's first match back with us today after illness and he managed to put a decent weight on the scales. well done john and great to see you back with us mate Very Happy

bonehill seems to be tony kibble favourite fishery as he is seen below dragging out his winning catch for the second year running, well done tony Very Happy

next we come across dave "the barbed hook" gordon lol!
dave who fished in my golden peg (spit) lol! came second with an excellent 17-00-00 on a very hard day, well done davey.

andrew kibbel keeping an eye on the secretary and making sure he gets his weight correct Rolling Eyes Very Happy

mr preece has a lot to smile about toady after putting a good bag of fish together, your learning david, well done .

a couple of nice carp in the bag!

micky davis loads up the weigh bag with some nice fish

i think stan is about to break out into a song and dance lol!

well at least the rain held off today, weights were well down on what was expected after the excellent catches of last year but thats fishing for you! anyway i booked up the same pool for the same time next year so tony can win another trophy lol!
