problem with the october match on the trent!

we have a problem with the october match on the river trent. i went for a drive up there today and walked the whole stretch. i counted 10 fishable pegs! i know its just coming to the end of the close season and you'd expect a lot of pegs to be over grown but it didn't look good. as i see it we have a couple of options. 1, i call the b.a.a. and ask if we can switch to another river venue or 2, we keep booking and use the trent match as a winter league match and booking another venue for the aggregate match.let me know what you think please as soon as possible, keep in mind that john goode picked the trent as the venue for the singles k.o. final and tony kibble picked it as the venue to defend his veterans trophy.thanks all.

i have sent an email to the b.a.a. and asked if we can swap it for the anker at tamworth. not everyones cup of tea but it's local and the first 10 pegs are armchair pegs, which will suit the old un's. just have to wait and see if it's available.
