 2nd bye 21/5/16 at blythe waters

well here we go again, the suns been out every day since our last match ! today the showers returned but at least it was warm rain this time Rolling Eyes today found us fishing the cherries pool at blythe fisheries, a pool full of big carp but can be hard going at times, as yesterday proved ! it wasn't the greatest day but gail and her husband made us feel welcome as per normal even if her husband seemed to be making love from behind with a swan aided by our own stan half way through the match but thats another story! lol!
anyway here is the story of the day.
first up we find the beast mad micky davis lol!

must be opening time, didn't know mr preece could tell the time lol!

mr hewitt enjoying a cuppa before the off!

oh dear it's stan long before he rode a white swan lol

next we find whispering dave gordon, winner on the day, well done mate Very Happy

i think our camera man john had been on the gin before he took this pic of dan constable lol!

no idea who this good looking chap is lol!

the glamour girl of our club carol gordon had a great day

our good friend richard helping out with the weighing in, thanks mate.

richard had a great day fishing the margins, well done mate.

i think he's happy, either that or he's about to hump mr langston! Embarassed lol!

our two guests on the day richard and ian at the scales, thanks lads, hope it went well on sunday.

ian who weighed in over 60 lbs on the day,we,ll done mate.

a great day for colin hewitt he is now the early front runner for the biggest fish of the season after landing a 9lb plus carp yesterday, well done mate,

well done every one it didn't fish well on the day, but hey that's fishing and we all enjoyed it. thanks richard and ian for making up the numbers .see you all at barston next month.

Hiya,  thanks again for letting us guest..  great bunch. always made to feel welcome, I always enjoy the your matches and very well organised.

Well done to Dave on winning the match.

Ok cheers bud.

Ive drawn peg 9 (2up from aerator) open water .. Ian drew peg 30 other side on the point.

Ive had 2 on waggler, 2 16m mugging scratch then finished with 70lb (down the edge) ..
Ian was 13m to the island had 2-3 dobbing a pellet about then down edge for 59lb for 2nd

Backup weights 55.. 40.. then 30. It was bright and hot (what a difference a day makes)

You have been spot on, Blythe is a place I have overlooked .. not sure why.. but if you apply the rules its an excellent venue really good fishing.
